Process description
The backing unwounded by the unwinder is subsequently coated by the coating unit which can vary depending on the rheology of the silicone to be used.
Subsequently, the coated material enters the drying tunnel which carries out the evaporation of the vehicle to be evaporated or the thermal or UV curing of the silicone itself which is then “fixed” on the support.
Finally, the silicone coated backing can be remoistured and rewound on a reel.
The product obtained combines the physical/chemical properties of the various layers that compose it.
